POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a creative, driven Business Development/Marketing Coordinator with experience in the AEC industry. This position is critical in preparing and managing proposals, leading brand management and expansion efforts, creating and maintaining marketing materials, conducting market research, and conducting digital marketing. It also involves collaborating with leadership in strategizing and developing business opportunities. Ideally, the candidate for this position is interested in learning about architecture, project types, and our firm’s specializations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposal Management
- Daily search and screening for project leads.
- Participating in Go/No-Go meetings for RFQs/RFPs.
- Must meet all deadlines for submitting RFQs/RFPs.
- Production of proposals and qualifications packages.
- Creation of high-quality graphics for use in proposals.
- Creating organized milestone calendars for in-house team collaboration and proposal goals.
- Interview support and support materials (digital or physical) for presentations.
- Collaborate with sub-consultants on materials and information related to proposal needs.
Coordinating with sub-consultants and in-house leadership for information related to project pursuits and business development goals.
Coordinating with professional photographers to photo document projects.
Writing/creating thoughtful print and digital marketing collateral content, including brochure sheets, booklets, web, and social media content.
General brand management, with assistance in marketing planning, strategy, and promotional participation in community events, in-person, and online engagement.
Conduct market research for industry news, clients, and other applicable information for business development strategies.
General Office Support, including assisting with other tasks as needed (secondary to marketing).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years minimum experience.
Outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills and ability to initiate and contribute creative solutions.
Strong editing, proofreading, and writing skills.
Software Proficiency: Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Canva.
Strong graphic skills and understanding of graphic design (willing to grow in this area).
Previous architectural and engineering marketing and proposal preparation experience.
Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written) and a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
Professional courtesy, etiquette, and confidentiality are a must.
Consistent attendance, performance/reliability, and follow-through are necessities.
