Project Architect

Roger H Newell AIA Architects, a small personable 54 year old firm specializing in single family residential, multifamily housing including mixed use and commercial structures is looking for an architect experienced in all phases of architecture including schematics, contract documents, code conformance and research and occasional site observation.  Position includes client contact as well as knowledge in local municipalities’ permit processes from project onset to completion of construction.  Construction knowledge a must for creating and editing construction detailing and specifications.

Minimum requirements include:

Experience in single family and multifamily design

Working knowledge in current building and fire codes

• Knowledge in local municipality zoning codes
• Permitting processes including pre application conferences
• Zoom meeting conferences
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Excel and Word

Benefits/Compensation:

• Salary: $95,000 – $100,000 depending on experience
• Vacation/Holiday pay
