Architectural Designer (1 – 3 Years Experience)

RMC Architects (RMC), a community-focused design firm in Bellingham, WA, is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. Located in Northwest Washington, Bellingham’s small-town, outdoorsy vibe is juxtaposed with two major metropolitan cities nearby – Vancouver, BC to the north and Seattle, WA to the south – providing the perfect location for the quintessential Pacific Northwest life. Our 19-person office is located downtown amid thriving, locally-owned businesses. We are seeking a recent college graduate with 1-3 years of experience. Starting salary ranges from $54,000 – $58,000 plus benefits and end of year bonus and is dependent upon experience. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about growing their skill set, brings flexibility to their project teams, has strong technical abilities, and meets the following criteria:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in architecture with an accredited architecture program
• Excellent graphic and presentation drawing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively through all phases of project delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam a must
• Proficiency with SketchUp, rendering software, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
