Project Architect / Designer (Full-Time, Remote)
Refine Design Architecture is a custom residential architecture firm based in Washington, creating modern, site-responsive homes rooted in craft, light, and connection to the landscape. Our work spans new custom homes, additions, and remodels throughout the greater Seattle area, with a focus on thoughtful design and technical precision.
We’re seeking a Project Architect / Designer with 4+ years of professional experience to join our team full-time and manage projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Perform as-built field measurements in King and Snohomish counties.
- Draft and model as-builts in Revit with accuracy and clean standards.
- Develop schematic designs for remodels, additions, and new custom homes.
- Advance projects through all phases — SD, DD, and CD — maintaining clarity, consistency, and design intent.
- Conduct zoning and building code research for multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare and submit permit drawings, coordinating reviews and responses.
- Produce detailed construction drawings and documentation.
- Manage construction administration questions and revisions as projects progress.
Qualifications
- Highly proficient in Revit with strong modeling, documentation, and detailing skills.
- 4+ years of professional architectural experience in residential projects.
- Solid understanding of wood-framed construction methods and detailing.
- Familiarity with King and Snohomish County permitting preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and self-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote office environment and coordinating digitally with the team.

- Full-time, salaried position w/ core benefits: $80,000–$90,000 depending on experience
- Fully remote workflow with local fieldwork as needed
