Project Manager Role Summary:

The Project Manager role reports directly to the Principal in Charge.  The main objective of the project manager is to coordinate with internal and external project team members, facilitate decision making, and implement strategy to ensure project deliverables meet design expectations, budgets, and deadlines.  The main functions of this role include conceptualizing, implementing, coordinating, and managing all phases of service.  Team member will work directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipalities with support of the project Principal in Charge.

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills with a desire to be both a project leader and a business leader.  Experience in the design and construction administration of large Multi-Family and Mixed-Use Residential projects of Wood, Steel and Concrete construction is essential.

This is a hybrid role that requires 3-4 days in person in our offices in Bellevue.

Job Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and project team members through all phases of the architectural design process
  • Review and interpret building and municipal codes
  • Communication – verbal, written and graphic, between internal and external project team members
  • Collaborate with team members on architectural design
  • Capable of expressing project goals and coordinating efforts towards them
  • Develop project schedules and budgets
  • Prepare and review specifications
  • Supervise and lead quality-control of project team
  • Other Duties as assigned

Education:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Architecture
  • Either hold or are working to attain professional architectural registration
  • Accreditation with a sustainability program is a plus

Experience:

  • We are seeking a Project Manager skilled in Multi-Family/Mixed Use residential projects with 15+ years of experience
  • Proven experience with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience with Microsoft MS Project, Excel, Word, and Teams
