INTERN III / ARCHITECT I

JOB TITLE (AIA EQUIVELENT):  Intern 3 / Architectural Staff 1

LOCATION: Seattle – primarily remote with occasional site visits and in-person meetings required

PART TIME: 10-20 hrs/ week

COMPENSATION: Contract Employee

JOCO Architects is an experienced architectural firm specializing in creating custom residential spaces through cutting edge design, sustainability, and forward thinking. Focusing primarily on single-family residences and boutique interiors, we aim to craft environments that enhance the lives of its users. Skilled in both architecture and interiors, we believe the strongest designs are an evolution of both and should thus be created concurrently.

As a petite firm, the candidate will have the opportunity to partake in a wide variety of roles. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to expand their knowledge into the single-family realm of architecture and get their hands on several different tasks. While we are currently seeking a part-time contract employee, this position could evolve to full-time.

REQUIREMENTS:

·       Accredited degree in architecture

·       Proficiency with Archicad

·       Proficiency with Adobe Suite

·       Working knowledge of single-family construction systems and detailing

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Provide design and documentation support on multiple projects simultaneously

·       Provide support for presentation and marketing needs
