ECH Architecture has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Architect and Project Manager excited to join our active and growing 10 person firm. We welcome the candidate with leadership potential and an interest in working on a wide range of project types and services.
The firm is actively serving Federal clients including the U.S. Coast Guard, the General Services Administration, the US Navy and others. The firm has been performing work for the Coast Guard for over 35 years throughout the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii. The firm performs work for numerous Federal agencies/tenants served by GSA including the US District Courts, Customs and Border Protection, the National Parks Service, HUD, DOL, the DEA and others.
In the aviation arena, ECH serves corporate clients including airlines such as Alaska Airlines as well as public sector clients including the Port of Seattle and King County. The firm has a long-standing history performing airport AE services at Seattle Tacoma International Airport. We are seeking candidates that share an interest in aviation design.
Candidate attributes desired include:
- Licensed Architect (or actively in the process of obtaining licensure)
- Self-motivated, creative individual
- Works well with project teams and fellow staff
- Well organized
- Capable of working independently
- Solid knowledge and interest in building design and construction
- Interior design experience a plus
- Interest in the application of new technology in architecture
- Strong graphic skills
- Good Revit and AutoCAD experience
- Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office & Project, Bluebeam and Newforma familiarity preferred
ECH increasingly utilizes 3-dimensional LiDAR scanning for the field investigation process and values the candidate that is adept in the use of point cloud data and associated software emerging in 3-dimensional design applications.
