ARCHITECTURAL ASSOCIATE

Cutler Anderson Architects is internationally known for its finely detailed residences and LEED Platinum high-rise which respect the circumstances of their culture and environment.

We are seeking an Architectural Associate to support projects locally and nationally. Experience in high-end residential projects, commercial, and multi-family is strongly preferred. The position offered is for full-time employment located in our office on Bainbridge Island.  Compensation is based upon experience and skill level.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 2-8 years post-graduate experience in an established architectural firm.
B.Arch or M.Arch degree from an accredited NAAB university.
Strong technical knowledge in planning, detailing, and construction documents is required.
Excellent graphic skills with experience in construction documents, especially the ability to identify and pick up changes accurately.
Maintain overall understanding of the design intent and how changes will impact the project and its budget.
Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac software and hand drawing.
Construction experience is highly valued.
A willingness to learn will lead to success in this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to balance multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a small environment; self-motivated.
Ability to ask questions.
