BuildingWork is hiring for a Project Designer

Candidates for this position should have two to five years of professional experience working in an architecture firm. Project Designers work directly with firm principals, project managers and project architects, assisting in project design and delivery. Tasks for this position include project research, 3D modelling, visualization, feasibility studies, and the development of project documentation in SD, DD, and CD phases.

In addition, candidates should have well-developed interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work effectively in teams and independently.  Candidates should be self-motivated and look forward to participating in a collaborative and dynamic work environment with a culture of excellence.

The minimum requirements for this position are:

• An accredited professional architecture degree (B.Arch. or M.Arch)

• English language proficiency

• Two years or more of professional architecture firm experience

• Experience working in a 3D design and documentation platform (BIM)
