BuildingWork is hiring for a Project Architect / Project Manager.

Candidates for this position should have the experience to provide project architect level leadership. This includes the abilities to advance project design, develop technical detailing, lead the preparation of project documentation and consultant coordination, manage permitting and entitlement processes, and construction administration. Project management skills such as oversight of fee allocation, project schedule, work flow, deadlines, deliverables, and effective client communication are also desired.

In addition, candidates should have well-developed interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to work effectively in teams and independently, and interest in participating in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

The basic requirements for this position include:

• An accredited professional architecture degree (B.Arch. or M.Arch).

• Architect license or in process of completing licensure.

• Eight years or more of professional architecture firm experience.

• Experience working in a 3D design and documentation platform (BIM).

• Experience leading the development and delivery of permit documents and construction documents.
