Architect WORKSHOP

A growing architectural firm in Nashville, we are currently seeking to add registered architects with five to ten years of post-professional architectural degree work experience. If you join our team, you will experience a full range of architectural responsibilities as we seek to achieve well-designed and client-focused solutions. Our shop members are animated by curiosity, lifelong learning, and a creative mindset linked with a concern for the impact that our decisions have on the community, environment, and those who inhabit the spaces we shape.

Ideal candidates should have exceptional design sensibilities as well as strong communication skills – both verbal and written. If you are enthusiastic, flexible, attentive to detail, and thrive in a thoughtfully paced environment, please reach out.

Beyond technical qualifications, we are interested in someone who works well in a collaborative environment.  We are looking for someone who has confidence in their capabilities and is comfortable sharing their own knowledge and skills with colleagues and clients in an engaging manner. Through strong leadership skills, the person should be able to enable progress through multiple project stages coordinating both project consultants and client collaborators. At the Workshop, collaborative means that the design process welcomes input from various voices, including clients, communities, principals, interior designers, engineers, and materials.

Individuals who succeed at the architect WORKSHOP are self-motivated, interested in a variety of project types and sizes, capable of prioritizing and planning their work, and strive to learn and expand their understanding of the art and science of architecture.
