COHO: Sound Foundations Volunteer Day 2026
Sound Foundations is a nonprofit that has built over 750 tiny homes for tiny house villages in our region. Join AIA Seattle’s Committee on Homelessness (COHO) for a day of volunteering.
This volunteer opportunity, held at the Hope Factory in SODO, is hands on: we will be working on building a tiny house throughout our day, as well as hearing about the mission of Sound Foundations. This is an incredibly positive and empowering volunteer opportunity–all who join will have active roles and make meaningful contributions to the building of a tiny house!
This volunteer opportunity is limited to 8 individuals. Please only register if you are fairly confident you can commit to participate. Lydia Fulton, one of the COHO Co-Chairs, will be in touch with all participants after they register, to share more information and to confirm that they are able to attend as the day approaches. Your participation is not confirmed until you get an email from the COHO Co-Chairs. Thank you for understanding!

Accessibility
This volunteer opportunity requires the ability to do some construction work, but generally there are different tasks that can be tailored to different people’s needs.
