Architecture, Justice and Labor: A Conversation with Rania Qawasma

Join Architecture Is Labor for a virtual conversation with Rania Qawasma, exploring the intersection of labor and social justice within the architectural profession.

Rania Qawasma is a Palestinian American architect whose work centers on social justice, equity, affordable housing, and the decolonization of space. She is the founder and executive director of Daarna, a community-based organization that uses architecture and design to partner with and advocate for refugees and uprooted people, working toward the ultimate goal of ending displacement.

This conversation invites us to reflect on our professional and ethical duty as architectural professionals. It is a dialogue that we believe is regularly overlooked within our field.
