Space Needle Tour-The Century Project

A guided tour and discussion of the Century Project for the Space Needle.

The Space Needle was completed for the 1962 World’s Fair and remains an iconic symbol of Seattle. In September of 2017, the Space Needle began its largest renovation project. This renovation aimed to reveal the tower’s internal structure, achieve LEED Gold for Commercial Interiors, honor the original conceptual design sketches and expand the views of the city. Please join Women in Design, Olson Kundig, Arup and others as we get an insiders perspective on one of Seattle’s most beloved Landmarks. The Space Needle is fully accessible and masking is encouraged but not required.

This program includes continuing education credit (submitted for 1 AIA LU). All sessions and speakers subject to change.
