NWW: Sustainable Connections Green Building Slam

The Green Building Slam, our most fun, fast-paced and inspirational green building event of the year is back! Learn about 8 innovative, sustainable, green buildings, ideas or advances that push the envelope in our built environment from the Pacific Northwest’s green building experts. Join us and rub elbows with the leaders that are transforming the way we design and build to create a resilient future.

Our audience attracts architects, builders, homeowners, energy efficiency experts, real estate professionals, interior designers and fabulous people like you.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Describe innovative building systems for net zero energy construction that will result in better performance, comfort and health.
  • Discuss strategies for meeting Zero Energy policy goals in the built environment and how to accomplish it affordably.
  • Illustrate elements of good infill design elements to foster healthy social interactions, maintain historic character and meet energy efficiency goals.
  • Identify strategies to design and build with sustainability and equity in mind to create inclusive communities
