Improving the quality of design in our urban centers, both large and small, is critical to the livability, sustainability and economic health of our region. Through advocacy, AIA Seattle will seek to improve the regulatory environment that impacts design and become a known resource on urban design issues.
POSITION
The AIA Seattle Board of Directors officially adopted and endorsed the 2030 Challenge in 2008. AIA Seattle promotes legislative mandates and incentives, as well as public and professional education, that move our state towards carbon-neutral building by 2030.
