The AIA Seattle/Northwest Home Open House program solicits and reviews applications of architect-designed homes for regular feature publication in Northwest Home/Seattle Magazine, with an open house held on a Sunday afternoon during the month of publication.

CALL FOR PROJECTS
Why apply? Selected projects are featured in a six-page spread in Northwest Home inside Seattle Magazine which has a print run of 70,000. Open House tours typically attract around 250 visitors. The average household income of Northwest Home readers is $244,000, 92% are homeowners and 31% are planning a major home remodel in the next twelve months.

The AIA Seattle Open House Program is seeking new committee members interested in furthering the program’s great heritage of support for residential architecture. Open House is one of the chapter’s most important programs for community outreach and the presentation of quality residential design to the public. Through our partnership with Seattle Magazine, the committee is responsible for selecting the best residential designs submitted by our member architects for tour by the public and publication in the Northwest Home section of the magazine. Take this opportunity to personally visit homes and meet the architects, clients, and contractors associated with the highest quality residential design in the region!
